Can anyone Run?

YES! Everyone can run and it’s one of the simplest, cheapest and most effective forms of exercise.

Running can be done almost anytime and anywhere, and requires very little equipment. Running includes quick walking, jogging, running and racing – it really doesn’t matter how fast or slow we run, each and every one of us can do it. The key is to find what works for us, as it will be different, and then build it up gradually.

Running can be great fun and very sociable – you can run with friends, make new friends by joining a social running group, head down to the local parkrun with your barcodes and run with hundreds of others every Saturday morning, or check out some of Wales’ formal running clubs . The opportunities are endless, and it’s never too late to start!
