With the Olympics<\/a> just around the corner and our very own Jeremiah Azu<\/a> due to take to the stage in the men’s 100m sprint and 100m relay, this summer is a great opportunity to inspire children to get active and take part in Athletics!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

In partnership with\u00a0A.F. Blakemore<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0SPAR<\/a>\u00a0we are running eight\u00a0Startng Blocs Summer Camps<\/a>.\u00a0The camps cost\u00a0\u00a315 for 5-6 hours and include a free packed lunch for every child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aimed at children aged 4 – 11 years old,\u00a0Starting Blocs<\/a>\u00a0is a fun and exciting physical literacy program to introduce children to the sport of athletics. Children learn the key movement skills needed for a life in sport, in a safe and positive environment, through games that are designed to teach children the foundations of running, jumping and throwing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Starting Blocs Summer Camps will take place on the following dates and locations:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you book 3 sessions in the same location in one week, the camps are reduced to \u00a313.50 per day with the exception of Caerphilly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*CCB Athletics Hub run camps for children aged 7-12 years and cost \u00a311.66 per session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
