What is Plogging?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Plogging is a simple yet powerful concept: as you run, you pick up litter along the way. Originating in Sweden (from the words “plocka upp,” meaning “pick up,” and “jogging”), this movement has gained traction worldwide. Plogging is not just great for the environment, but it also adds variety to your workout, engaging different muscle groups as you bend, squat, and stretch to collect rubbish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join the Keep Wales Tidy \u2018Spring Clean 2025\u2019 Campaign<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

From 21st March to 6th April<\/strong>, Keep Wales Tidy is calling on individuals and groups to take part in their annual Spring Clean 2025<\/a><\/strong> campaign. With over 200 Litter Picking Hubs<\/strong> open across Wales, getting involved has never been easier! These hubs provide free equipment, including litter pickers, hi-vis vests, rubbish bags, and hoops to keep your bags open on windy days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re part of a running club or social running group, plogging is a fantastic way to bond, stay active, and make a tangible impact on your local environment. Here\u2019s how you can get started:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
