{"id":4246,"date":"2018-02-01T12:30:12","date_gmt":"2018-02-01T12:30:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/irun.wales\/?p=4246\/"},"modified":"2017-12-20T14:02:12","modified_gmt":"2017-12-20T14:02:12","slug":"group-month-february-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irun.wales\/cy\/newyddion\/group-month-february-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Gr\u0175p y Mis &#8211; Chwefror 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Let\u2019s Run Carmarthen is a thriving running group which started 4 years ago when a few friends decided Carmarthen lacked a social running group.<\/h4>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-4243\" src=\"https:\/\/irun.wales\/app\/uploads\/GOTM-February-Lets-Run-Carmarthen-300x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/irun.wales\/app\/uploads\/GOTM-February-Lets-Run-Carmarthen-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/irun.wales\/app\/uploads\/GOTM-February-Lets-Run-Carmarthen-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/irun.wales\/app\/uploads\/GOTM-February-Lets-Run-Carmarthen-768x768.png 768w, https:\/\/irun.wales\/app\/uploads\/GOTM-February-Lets-Run-Carmarthen-48x48.png 48w, https:\/\/irun.wales\/app\/uploads\/GOTM-February-Lets-Run-Carmarthen.png 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>The group was small for a few years but in the last year has really taken off and regularly sees around 20 runners of all different abilities meeting on a Tuesday night, rain or shine, at the Leisure Centre Track at 6pm.\u00a0 We have different groups running together which tend to be a transition group for those who have completed a couch to 5k programme with Carmarthen Walk to Run group (which is starting a new round in January on Wednesday nights), then a group running around 5 miles at different paces, then the speedier runners, who tend to run around 6-7 miles.\u00a0 In the winter months we tend to stick to routes around Camarthen town but in the summer can be found on the beach and trails round Llansteffan and other beautiful places too.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Our runners are a very mixed bunch ranging in age from early twenties to 81!\u00a0 Many take part in races all over Wales running any distances from 5k parkruns to Ultra Marathons and all in between.
