This Saturday (21<sup>st<\/sup> April) the event will celebrate it\u2019s 1-year anniversary, with spaces still available for volunteers to help with the event! To celebrate the 1-year anniversary, participants will receive a specially designed commemorative badge as well as a piece of birthday cake!<\/p>\n<p>The Merthyr parkrun event relies on several dedicated volunteers labelled as \u201cHigh Viz Heroes\u201d who\u2019ve braved the elements in recent months to ensure the event runs smoothly every single Saturday morning! In addition, the Merthyr parkrun recently witnessed its oldest ever finisher!
