All participants were rewarded with a brightly coloured Easter chick medal and of course, an Easter egg.<\/p>\n<p>The group, which meets every Monday and Wednesday evening at Porth Eirias, Colwyn Bay also had a group social after the run enjoying with a well-deserved Easter Brunch at the Llandudno Bay Hotel. The brunch was organised by Run Leader, Gemma Gale to help raise funds for Gemma\u2019s London Marathon sponsorship supporting the Royal British Legion. The runners indulged in a selection of sandwiches, scones and hot cross buns.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-5573 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/irun.wales\/app\/uploads\/gemma-gale-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"138\" height=\"184\" srcset=\"https:\/\/irun.wales\/app\/uploads\/gemma-gale-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/irun.wales\/app\/uploads\/gemma-gale.jpg 720w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 138px) 100vw, 138px\" \/>Gemma said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a fantastic day. We had a great turn out for the dash, followed by a really successful Easter brunch. It raised almost \u00a3400 for a very worthwhile cause very close to my heart. I am now looking forward to my first ever marathon!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Run leader, Paula added:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur group is going from strength to strength.
