The role will be 22.5 hrs per week, fixed term for one year, starting 1st December (Hopefully!)<\/p>\n<p><b>Overall purpose of the role<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To act as a\u00a0lead in the area to inspire, encourage and support the development of running leaders and groups as part of the Run Wales Programme which forms part of the Welsh Athletics Strategic Plan.<\/li>\n<li>To form sustainable partnerships across the South Wales area to grow the number of registered running groups, recruit a\u00a0leader workforce and support their upskilling and development.<\/li>\n<li>To promote walking, jogging and running opportunities in the local area and assist existing groups and organisations to ensure a\u00a0high quality and accessible running offer throughout the geographic location.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/welshathletics.peoplehr.net\/Pages\/JobBoard\/Opening.aspx?v=a8c4e826-0493-42cf-8c8f-794c1ab3b3a8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Apply here<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>For an informal chat about the role please contact Gareth Hall, Run Wales Programme Manager on 07864 969631<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re looking for a new Run Wales Activator to join our team to cover maternity leave.
