Dragons running club would like to say a massive thank you this Volunteers\u2019 Week<\/a> to some very special volunteers who their group could not do without;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brendan Price<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Brendan has been the Dragons coach for more than two years and for the majority of this time he has been the only coach for the club. At its peak, the Dragons had over 150 members. Brendan planned and organised all of the club runs during this period even when we was on holiday. He also supported and later on organised the clubs training on the track too. All of this as a volunteer! We are so grateful for him and his devotion to the club.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nicola Williams<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Nicola is the assistant coach of the Dragons and she has been reaching out to members to the club to ensure that they are safe and well. As well as keeping them motivated and running. She does all of this selflessly and tirelessly.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adrian Harford<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Adrian is the Event Director of the Aberdare parkrun and a run leader of the Dragons running club. Adrian has been continually supportive of the Aberdare parkrun and the Dragons running club. He has gained community chest funding for the parkrun and is continually working on ideas that will help motivate our parkrunners and our club members.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
