The end of year awards for Conwy saw the wonderful Gemma Gale, Run Leader of Porth Eirias Runners, won the Special Achievement Award at the Conwy Sports Awards
Gemma started just over a year ago in the 0-5km group and since then she took over as leader and as well as inspiring and supporting many new runners in the group, her own list of achievements is amazing.
She has completed the Cardiff Half twice including as support for the 100 club, she’s completed numerous other half marathons, 10kms and 5kms. This year she took on the challenge of the London Marathon raising money for The Royal British Legion and also cracked the Disney Challenge of a 5km, 10km and half marathon in one weekend!
