Running forward
Problems melting behind
One step in front of the other
The weight of the world disappears in a flash
On and on
Just me and the wind
Nobody around to create havoc
Heart beating, blood pumping
Muscles working, feet pounding
Miles in front, Miles Behind
Distance separating the person from the role
The role as a mother
As a woman, as a friend
All of them disappear as I go and go.
And here I am
At the end of the journey –
Sweating, dizzy
My mind blank
I am now ready to face the world
Nothing to stop-me
I’m still here!

Pwysau’r byd yn diflannu mewn fflach.
Ymlaen ac ymlaen
Jyst fi â’r gwynt
Neb o gwmpas i greu helynt.
Curiad calon, hergwd gwaed,
Gweithrediad cyhyrau, taro traed.
Milltiroedd o flaen,
Milltiroedd tu ôl
Pellter yn gwahanu y person â’r rôl.
Y rôl fel mam,
Fel gwraig, fel ffrind,
I gyd yn diflannu wrth i fi mynd a mynd.
A dyma fi
Ar diwedd y daith-
Yn chwysu,
Yn pendro,
Fy meddwl yn wag.
Yn barod nawr i wynebu’r byd.
Dim byd i’m stopio-
Dwi yma o hyd!
