Summary of Group:
Affiliated to the National Trust, with our base at Erddig Hall, Erddig Nordic Walkers was originally formed as part of the Trust’s 2015 national campaign “Let the outdoors move you”.
Run by dedicated volunteers, our friendly group has grown from strength to strength and is now a constituted body in its own right. We’ve helped support many people increase their fitness, amid beautiful settings and in great company.
The ENW team can help you keep fit and healthy with accessible exercise within your own skills and ability. Past experience is not essential as full training is given by nationally qualified instructors. Following a short induction and coaching session, you’ll be part of a great Nordic walking group and will be able to take full advantage of all our walks and special events. Regular training sessions are held at Erddig normally on the first Saturday of the month. Please visit the calendar on our website.
With no membership charge, we rely on voluntary contributions from our walkers to enable us to purchase loan equipment, fund training, first aid and other on-going costs. We suggest a £1 donation each time you walk.
