Summary of Group:
A friendly group of mixed ability runners covering Rhyl, Prestatyn and surrounding area.
We have 3 main groups from slower paced/beginners, mid range and slightly faster. Wherever you are on your running journey you fit in with us, we always adapt our sessions so everyone is supported. Benefitting from guidance of Run Leaders Eva, Katie & Sam we can cater for a range of terrains and distances.

Usual base is from Rhyl Events Arena for a range of routes, we do move to different locations which is shared to members on our Facebook page. |
OTHER ACTIVITIES:
We also offer beginners groups in partnership with Prestatyn Running Club and Nova Prestatyn parkrun. A range of routes and additional walking and off road runs subject to run leader availability. We take part in Run Wales events and local races and competitions.

Eva is Participation Officer for Run Wales and the local Welsh Athletics Development Officer for North East Wales. A qualified athletics & running coach teaching ages from 4+ Loves to run in the countryside and has completed many different events and distances. | |||||

I've been running for about 5 years now and actually got into it by mistake as I always said to people I would never run and if you see me running you better run too because I am running from something 🤣🤣. It was a friend who told me about the Rhyl running group as I was going to a miserably boring PT session at a local gym and wanted to do anything but that, which is where my friend suggested joining the Rhyl Runners. I was hooked from the first night and then after a few years became a Run Leader which I thoroughly enjoy. In my other spare time which is far and few between with 2 kids and their activities I like to go to a one on one PT session and also spend time with the family walking the dog, I also like a good food session too because who doesn't like eating food 😀 | |||||
