Summary of Group:

This group is designed to help and encourage people to start their running journey. All abilities of running are catered for and always regroup if running with mixed abilities. We run in different locations to ensure people can experience different running terrains.

TIMETABLE OF REGULAR ACTIVITIES:

Day: Monday Time: 18:30 Level: Beginner
Location: Various Cost: Free
Activity: Group running Gender: Mixed
These sessions last approximately an hour and start from different locations during the summer months.

 

Day: Wednesday Time: 17.30 Level: Beginner
Location: Acton Park Cost: Free
Activity: Group running Gender: Mixed
This run is for beginners and lasts approximately 30 minutes. We support Couch to 5k runners when there is sufficient demand.

 

Day: Thursday Time: 18:45 Level: Beginner
Location: Alyn Waters (Llay side) Cost: Free
Activity: Group running Gender: Mixed
This is normally a harder session but adjusted if needed. Examples here are timed 5k, hill reps, progressive run, speed intervals 

 

OTHER ACTIVITIES:

Couch to 5k courses can be held during the Wednesday session if there is enough interest.

I am a Coach in Running Fitness (also Run Leader) with over 10 years of experience in running. Having been a beginner I know what it is like to take up running at a more advanced age! The aim of my sessions is fun and chatting!
