Summary of Group:

First Steps is suitable for those completely new to running and those returning to running after a break or injury.

We introduce running in a safe and enjoyable manner, build confidence, improve stamina and fitness and encourage participants to progress through our 1, 2 and 3 mile groups.

This group is linked to a Welsh Athletics Running Club: Pontypool & District Runners

 

TIMETABLE OF REGULAR ACTIVITIES:

Beginners and intermediate running groups from 1-4 miles

OTHER ACTIVITIES:

We also offer specific plans towards certain events such as the St David's Pontypool Homerun 10k and the Mic Morris 10k and will be introducing the more formal Couch to 5k programme over the summer culminating in Pontypool parkrun.
