The first North Wales Big Social Run will take place this Sunday at 1pm, with participants already booked on from local social running groups Rhyl Runners and Porth Eirias Runners as well as support from Healthy Prestatyn Iach (the local GP surgery) it is hoped that the free, fun and friendly event will bring together runners who have taken part in 0-5km programmes as well as those just starting out.
Meeting at Prestatyn Cricket Club, the run will take place along the prom towards Ffrith beach and back. Participants are free to walk, jog, run and most importantly chat!
Parking is available at the club with additional parking at the Nova Centre across the road.
