Reasons to Run
More and more women are getting in to running, so for International Women’s Day, Rachel Evans tells us why she loves running:
“My running journey took me from non-runner to marathon runner in fourteen months. Running has become my therapy, my addiction and my new best friend. I have a new family around me (we put the ‘social’ in to social running) and a new-found belief in myself and what I can do mentally and physically.
There is no better feeling than finishing a run, whether it’s a mile around the block or 26.2 marathon miles. Some people climb mountains to hit that high, but for me, as I finish every run I feel on top of the world!!”
