Fancy getting fit but not really the ‘sporty’ type?

Couch to 5K is a free nine-week running plan for people who want to be more active. It’s perfect if you’re new to running – the plan is all about starting slowly and building up gradually. Anyone can start Couch to 5K – you don’t need to be fit! Visit the App Store or Google Play.

Girls Together aims to inspire young girls and women to get involved in sport and physical activity by providing new and exciting opportunities to participate and be active.

As part of the campaign new social running groups are being established across the city to focus on engaging females who have either never run before or are looking for a way back into fitness.

‘Let the Outdoors Move You’ is a programme that provides opportunities for families and beginners to enjoy being active in some of Wales’s most scenic and spectacular outdoor spaces.

From running groups at locations such as Stackpole, and Erddig to races being organised at Dinefwr there’s something for everyone through this National Trust Programme.
