Summary of Group:
We're a friendly group who run at a chatty pace around Cowbridge and surrounding areas. You can run, jog, plod or Jeff (walk:run) your way around. All sessions are led by a qualified Run Leader and are offered free of charge. We're open to all 18yrs and over, join our Facebook page, complete registration and turn up in your Daps!
Seriously though, don't be put off thinking to join a group you have to be a good runner, we really do know how daunting it can be to turn up to that first session. Most of us took up running as mature adults and didn't know many or even anybody on that first night.
We were we awarded Run Group of the Year in Oct'19 and have continued to grow into a community with a shared love of the positive effects exercising outdoors has on our overall wellbeing.

OTHER ACTIVITIES:
We arrange ad hoc socials and support community events. In fact you'll see us in the Ticket booths for the Cowbridge Food & Drink Festival. We also arrange longer social runs on a Sunday, varying paces typically covering 6 miles plus. On Saturdays, you may well see us at our local Parkrun (Porthcawl) running, cheering or volunteering followed by coffee and chat afterwards. Some really enjoy the atmosphere of events, so you'll often see us in our cowprint at local events.
