With the gradual unlocking of the Sport of the last few weeks Welsh Athletics has announced they will soon be launching their new look coach education offer. They have been working hard with UKA, and the other HCAF’s, in order to repackage the Coaching Assistant, Leader in Running Fitness and Event Group qualifications.
Coaching Assistant and the Leader in Running Fitness qualification will now be comprised of a blended learning experience, with both an online (remote/home learning) and face to face component. This accelerated move to virtual classroom, and self-guided learning, complemented by outdoor, tutor-led practical, will allow them to start to deliver Coach Education again aligned to Welsh Government guidance.
