In association with Landscapes of Faith we are proud to be launching our very first, bespoke virtual run.
‘Run Up the Valley’ is a virtual, fun run that hopes to encompass history, landscapes and social running in one small package.
Celebrating the legend of Tydfil, who was the late daughter of King Brychan, participants will be asked to ‘Run up the Valley’ on Saturday 19th and Sunday the 20th of June, in return for a locally made pottery replica of the Celtic cross, which still stands today on the site of Tydfil’s church in Merthyr Tydfil town centre.
There is no set distance nor will we need proof of your run! We’ll take your word for it!
Runners will have the option to pick up their medal, in person, from St Tydfil’s church on Saturday 19th of June or Sunday 20th of June, or be sent their medal in the post after these dates.
